In 1890, Kubota Corporation started its rich history of innovation and contribution to society in Osaka, Japan. In 1922, Kubota launched production of the horizontal, liquid-cooled kerosene engine for agricultural use. The first compact diesel engine was sold in the United States in 1976. Today, Kubota has grown into the world-leading manufacturer of emission compliant compact multi-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engines below 100 HP.
Kubota’s Super Mini Series engines are compact, multi cylinder, liquid cooled, mechanical diesel engines that meet EPA Tier 4 Final emission regulations. The Super Mini Series has been powering applications such as welders, generators, aerial lift, skid steers, tractor loaders, mowers and more for over thirty years.
Kubota’s 05 Series engines are compact, multi cylinder, liquid cooled, mechanical diesel engines that meet EPA Tier 4 Final emission regulations. The 05 Series has been powering applications such as welders, generators, aerial lift, skid steers, tractor loaders, mowers and more for over thirty years.
These diesel engines are 3-4 cylinder and liquid cooled. This series meets EPA Tier 4 Final and the models above 37 kW meet the EU Stage IIIB emission regulations. Kubota's 03 Series powers applications such as compaction, air compressors, pressure washers, forklifts, refrigeration, mowers, welders and more.
The Kubota 07 Series features a new engine design with a unique cylinder block. Its two 4 cylinder, liquid cooled, fully electronic controlled engines meet EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IIIB emission regulations. This series powers applications such as wood chippers, trowels, hydraulic pumps, skid steers and more.
The Kubota V4309 and V5009 engine complies with EU Stage V and EPA/CARB Tier 4 Final. In order to meet these stringent regulations, the engine has a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).
These engines are 4-cylinder, liquid cooled, fully electronic controlled engines that meet EPA Interim Tier 4 and EU Stage IIIB emission regulations. Kubota's V3 Series engines power applications such as tractors, loaders, back hoes, wood chippers, fork lifts, trenchers, compaction, welders, sweepers, skid steers and more.
Kubota's EA Engine is a 1 cylinder, horizontal, water-cooled diesel engine that meets Tier 4 Final emission regulations that has been powering a variety of application for over 30 years.
These 1 cylinder, oil-air cooled engines have the lightweight and compactness of an air-cooled engine but the low noise and durability of a water cooled diesel engine. Kubota's OC Series engines meet Tier 4 Final emission regulations and are offered in two different models with two different PTO shaft options.
The Kubota BG Series engine line up is ideal for all of your generator applications such as light towers, welders and generators for industrial, standby and marine use. Kubota offers a full range of 60 Hz generator engines starting at 10 kW up to 53kW at 1800 rpm. Most of these engines are also available in 50Hz from 8kW to 35kW.
Warranty on select Kubota engines has been extended to 3 years or 3,000 hours*. Coverage includes light towers, air compressors, mobile elevated work platforms and Kubota powered generators.
